Dewback - 1:12 Scale Resin Model kit
This is a 1:12 scale resin model kit depicting a Sandtrooper atop his Dewback mount, in search of the droids on Tatooine.
Once assembled, the model kit measures approximately 13 inches long by 10 inches high, from the bottom of the base to the top of the Sandtrooper.
All of the resin pieces are solid cast with the exception of the Dewback, which is rotocast, but still quite thick.
The kit includes everything shown in the pictures: Dewback, Imperial Sandtrooper, and the base.

Another great Star Wars Kit by David and Laura Stann! I'm a big SW fan and now a StannArts fan. The Dewback with Stormtrooper from ANH is very detailed and a great size in 1/20 or 1/16(?) size. It will be an excellent addition to my collection, and a great companion to SA's "The Search for Luke" tuantuan with Han Solo from ESB. It would be perfect with maybe a Jabba and Slave Leia from RoTJ! Just throwing that out there guys, no pressure. Or maybe, Leia meets Wicket the Ewok? Keep up the awesome work! Also, those not familiar with StannArts, check out their other kits! Very detailed Korloff's Frankenstein's Monster bust and Van Helsing vs. Dracula from the 70s film, Dracula, has my eye, too. This couple is super talented and wish them growth in the Garagekit world of modeling. Can't wait to get started on my builds! Try them!
The product is excellent and as described! The seller and communication with seller was great! The product is absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend the product and business with the seller/artist! The only grief I had was the tracking of shipment through multiple carriers where at one point I was not able to track anymore. But this was only a problem of ebay links or the links provided by the carriers. The seller was very helpful though and the problem got solved!
As seller predicted, kit was bigger than I expected. Well sculpted with crisp detail. Of particular note is the casting, which is uniformly excellent. Making repairs to reptilian skin is frequently difficult, but the only seam found is on the underside, where it can be safely ignored. Haven’t built kit yet, so cannot comment on fit. Thoroughly pleased with quality and price of this kit. Highly recommended.
Oh..Oh..this is my 2nd Stann Arts piece. Man he does good work. I got his Han Solo on the Tauntaun and was Way blown away. This Dew Back...wow even better, such detail. can't wait to paint it, hope I'm worthy. Nicely done my man!!!!
